Maximized Mudroom

This historic structure started life as a barn. Now it's a rambling and spacious home to a growing family that includes three active boys and two dogs. A bricked entranceway was the perfect spot to create practical storage and a place for muddy boots and shoes. We took it from rustic to weathertight and efficient.
